A traditional ruler in Ondo State, His Royal Majesty, Oba Festus Oyedele Olumoyegun and his Olori, Modupe Olumoyegun have congratulated the new Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ondo State, Prince Olusegun Omojuwa on his appointment by the Governor, His Excellency, Honourable Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

a letter made available to Chronicles Magazine, Oba Olumoyegun, Oniju of Iju-Odo, home town of Late Dr. Olusegun Agagu, has written on behalf of his family and the good people of his kingdom, to rejoice with the Chief of Staff on his “well-deserved” appointment.

The letter reads in part :” I wish to join millions of your admirers to felicitate with you on your appointment as Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ondo State. Your appointment is a testament to your good deeds and your superlative devotion to duty while you held sway as Permanent Secretary and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ondo State”.

ba Olumoyegun, a Super Fellow of the Institute of Human and Natural Resources, Nigera and former Chairman of the defunct Ikale Local Government has also written similar letters to the new Commissioners of Economic Planning and Budget, Lands and Housing as well as Mines and Energy, Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan, Akin Sowore and Engr. Rasak Obe on their own appointments too.

he former Chairman of Ondo State Task Force on Afforestation thanked the Governor for counting the commissioners worthy of being brought back to the state cabinet. He did not hide his admiration for the four appointees who he believes have been tested and have never let the state down.

ut since Oliver Twist asked for more, Oba Oniju pleaded with Governor Aiyedatiwa to consider the appointment of the immediate past Commissioner for Education, Pastor Femi Agagu, his own “son” back into the cabinet in view of his great records and love for and of the people of Ikale Land.

He wished the four new appointees and others every success as they assume office.
