ONDO ASSEMBLY COMMENDS OSRC MEDIA GROUP: CHARGED THEM TO DO MORE
The Ondo State House of Assembly has commended the Chairman and Management team of the Ondo State Radiovison Corporation (OSRC) media group for their optimal performance just as they charged them to continue the good work.
The Chairman House Committee on Information, Youth and Sports Development , Hon Akogun Gbenga Omole gave the commendation during the committee’s oversight visit to the company.
Hon Gbenga Omole affirmed that the oversight functions is one of their lagislative duties as the lawmakers, lauded the Chairman, Mr. Kunle Adebayo and the management for projecting the image of the government on good light. He stated that he always notice tremendous improvements whenever the house visit the media group despit the daunting challenges they are facing.
He lauded them for the inprovement in the area of information dissemination which has been enable people across the state to watch OSRC TV and also listening to Alalaye and Orange FM more than before.
The Chairman who charged them to put in more efforts so as for the good work to continue thanked the Management team for the support given to their chairman also promised them more legislative support in all areas.
Earlier, while welcoming the Lawmakers, The chairman OSRC media group, Mr Kunle Adebayo, appreciated the Lawmakers for their mutual support. He noted that the oversight functions which has become their ritual, always strengthen the media group.
The Chairman who noted that their staff promotion regular, assured that the media group will not rest on its oars in Keeping the state together even thou they have not been able to access some money budgeted for them in the last year budget which has been affecting them in some areas which include, diesel to run their manchines, procurement of vehicles, procurement of manchines at the engineering department and also training of staffs within and outside the states.
Other members who spoke during the visit appreciated them for their unbaise news, advising the media group to look inward for more ways to generate money.
The lawmakers promised the media group of their full Legislative supports in any area that they could at all time.
