ODHA SET TO WORK IN SYNERGY WITH NATURAL RESOURCES MINISTRY
Ondo State House of Assembly has reiterated its commitment to restoring orderliness to the State forest revenues and support its drive towards boosting the internally generated revenue of the Ministry.
The Chairman, House committee on Natural Resources, Mr Akinrogunde Akintomide made the remark during an oversight function to the Ministry of Natural resources in Akure.
Akintomide who expressed worry over the State of the Ministry and forest reserves assured that the house will not relent in its efforts to work hand in glove for proper utilization of Ondo States Natural Resources.
Other Lawmakers, Hons Adefioye Festus and Simeon Borokini promised to look into the requests like vehicles repairs, forest preservation and adequate funding to further boost the revenue drive of the state.
In his response, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Natural resources, Mr Fatai Lawal thanked the committee for their visit and called for a robust synergy between the House and the Ministry for sustainable development to thrive.
