ODHA Condoles with Former SSG, Arogbofa.
Ondo State House of Assembly has commiserated with the family of the former Secretary to Ondo State Government, Hon.Sunday Abegunde over the death of his father,Chief Williams Abegunde who died at the age of 100 years.
Leading some Lawmakers to pay a condolence visit to the family house of the deceased,the Speaker of the House, Rt.Hon.Olamide Oladiji, described late Williams Abegunde as a man of discipline who surrendered his entire life for God and humanity.
According to the Speaker,the reason of the visit was to celebrate with the former SSG over the demise of his father who had lived a purposeful and fulfilled life while on earth.
Responding, Honourable Sunday Abegunde, appreciated the Speaker and other lawmakers for finding time for the visit, saying it’s a show of love.
In another development,the Speaker also led the Lawmakers to pay a condolence visit to the family of Bashorun Sehinde Arogbofa over the demise of his wife,late Mrs Elizabeth Olukemi Arogbofa which occurred recently.
Speaking on behalf of the Parliamentarians, the Speaker described the late wife of the elder statesman as a lover of all, just as she would be greatly missed for the impactful and good life she lived.Oladiji, however prayed to God to grant her eternal rest.
Expressing appreciation to the lawmakers for the surprise visit,the husband of the late departed, Bashorun Sehinde Arogbofa described the death of his wife as a rude shock.
According to him,his late wife lived a fulfilled and righteous life, saying she would be greatly missed.
Among the Lawmakers that accompanied the Speaker were the House Majority Leader, Hon.Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi,Hon.Moyinoluwa Ogunwumiju,Hon.Toyin Japheth,Hon.Olajide Oguntodu among others.
