LET’S BUILD ON THE LEGACY OF THE PRAYER MEETING- FEDPOLEL ACTING RECTOR

The Management, Staff and Students of Federal Polytechnic,Ile-Oluji,Ondo State(FEDPOLEL)
converged on the Institution’s Twin Auditorium on Monday, 3rd April, 2023 to observe the April prayer meeting in an atmosphere of joy and friendship and to appreciate the Lord for seeing another new month.
In a sermon titled, ” A Life of Excellence”, Mrs. Stella Kuforiji, a Secretarial Assistant in the Rector’s office, admonished the congregation to strive for excellence in whatever they do,noting that God wants everyone to have a positive influence on others and be obedient.


Taking her Bible text from 2 Peter 1: 4-5, she explained that in order to attain an excellent life,one should be hardworking, ready to take steps to achieve one’s vision and develop the can-do spirit.
ln his brief remarks at the fourth edition of the prayer meeting for the year, the Acting Rector, Samson Adehuga OMOGBEHIN, appreciated the Staff and Students for their support and encouragement and charged them to build on the already laid down legacy of the monthly prayer meeting, which he said has been impactful in every ramification.


The well-attended prayer gathering featured intercessory prayers for the Polytechnic Community and Nigeria, choir ministration, prayer for birthday celebrants in the new month as well as the dedication of the newly procured musical instruments for the use of the prayer assembly.
The monthly prayer meeting was rounded off with a benediction said by Pastor Akinwumi OLUDEYI,who chairs the prayer meeting committee, while the Registrar, Mr Gabriel Adeyemi AWE, proposed the vote of thanks by further appreciating all in attendance for keeping the programme in full swing.
