FEDPOL RECTOR, ONDO NULGE PRESIDENT BAG AINPN HONOURS
The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Ileoluji, Professor Emmanuel Fasakin and the President of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees NULGE, Ondo State chapter, Comrade Bola Taiwo will be honoured at the 7th Anniversary lecture and Award of the Association of Independent Newspapers Publishers of Nigeria (AINPN), Ondo State Council.
In the August event which will be held in Akure, the capital city of Ondo State, Professor Emmanuel Fasakin, the very effective, dutiful and energetic pioneer Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Ile-oluji will bag the Transparency and Integrity Award. The event will also see one of the best civil servants and an administrator per excellence and highly honoured Ondo State NULGE President, Comrade Bola Taiwo being decorated with the Role Model in Public Service Award
This year’s lecture is titled “Critical Role of Community Newspapers in Promoting Good Governance: The Case of Ondo State” which ill be delivered by Dr. Gbenga Daramola of the prestigious Department of Mass Communication, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko. Ondo State while the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu will be the Special Guest of Honour and Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede, Vice Chancellor, Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife as Chairman of the occasion.
Other roll call of dignitaries expected at the event of the AINPN includes the Ondo State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon. Donald Ojogo, the Chief Medical Director of Skye Hospital Limited and a former Presidential Aspirant, Dr. Wilson Ikubese, and member, Ondo State House of Assembly representing Ese Odo Constituency Chief Success Torhukerhijo Esq.
The event which is scheduled to hold at the parliament Hotel, Alagbaka Akure on the 20th of December 2020 will be privileged to have the Deji of Akure, HRM Aladelusi Ogunlade and HRM, Oba Aliu Adegbehingbe as royal fathers of the day.
