Erudite Scholar, Dr. Osamaye, Bags Philanthropic Recognition and Leadership Award
Dr. Osamaye Seun Bosede, a distinguished academic and esteemed figure in education, administration management, politics, and philanthropy, will on Sunday, 10th of March 2024 bag the prestigious Philanthropic Recognition and Leadership Award.
Dr. Osamaye, has made significant contributions to various spheres, earning her recognition as a trailblazer and philanthropist. Her remarkable achievements span her academic career, political endeavors, and humanitarian initiatives.
A renowned educationist, Dr. Osamaye has dedicated nearly two decades to teaching across various educational levels. Beginning her lecturing career at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, she quickly distinguished herself as an outstanding educator, earning the admiration of both students and colleagues. Dr. Osamaye’s commitment to academic excellence and her passion for empowering others have been evident throughout her career, earning her widespread respect and acclaim.
Dr. Osamaye’s influence extends beyond the classroom, as she has actively participated in the political landscape of Nigeria. Serving as the Coordinator of the Small Allhaji Campaign Organisation in 2019, she played a pivotal role in the successful election campaign of Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye as a member of the House of Representatives for Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency of Ondo State in the 9th Assembly.
Furthermore, Dr. Osamaye has demonstrated her dedication to gender equality and women’s rights through her role as the Senior Legislative Aide on Gender Equality to Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, former Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives. In this capacity, she has championed initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality, raising awareness about sexual and gender-based violence, and facilitating gender-friendly programs. Dr. Osamaye’s unwavering commitment to social justice and advocacy has earned her widespread acclaim and admiration.
The erudite scholar, will be decorated among other eminent personalities at the 2024 Chronicle Magazine Fizzy , with the theme “Monetization of Nigeria Politics and the Bane of Godfatherism: Ondo 2024 in perspective” to be delivered by Dr. Olugbenga Abimbola of the Department of Mass Communication, Adekunle Ajasin University.
The event will be chaired by Hon. Bode Ayorinde, Former Member of the House of Representatives and Founder, Achievers University, Owo and will also feature Hon. Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi, Majority leader of Ondo State House of Assembly, and Dr. Tunji Rhema Moyero, Ondo State governorship aspirant as special guests.

The tripartite event will host the Executive Governor of Ondo state, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as the special guest of honour.
