Dr. Adeleye Jasper Bags Chronicles’ Leadership Award

Dr. Adeleye Jasper Olusayero, Registrar of the Institute of Mortgage Brokers and Lenders of Nigeria will be bestowed with the prestigious Pillar of Community Development and Leadership Award at the Chronicles Fizzy 2024 event. Dr. Adeleye, a renowned philanthropist and champion of community development, has garnered widespread recognition for his exemplary contributions to various sectors, including healthcare, infrastructure, and housing finance.
A dedicated advocate for community welfare, Dr. Adeleye has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at improving the lives of individuals in his country home of Idanre and beyond. Through his philanthropic efforts, he has facilitated medical outreach programs, bringing healthcare professionals from abroad to provide essential medical services to underserved communities. Additionally, Dr. Adeleye has played a pivotal role in road rehabilitation projects in Idanre, enhancing transportation infrastructure and promoting socio-economic development in the region.
As the Managing Director of the Institute of Mortgage Brokers and Lenders of Nigeria, Dr. Adeleye has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to promoting mortgage professionalism and addressing financing challenges within Nigeria’s housing sector. He has been instrumental in advocating for the establishment of a mortgage regulatory body to ensure transparency, efficiency, and professionalism in mortgage institutions across the country. Dr. Adeleye’s efforts have earned him accolades, including an Honorary Doctorate award from the Chartered Institute of Economics Nigeria and recognition as a Fellow of the Institute of Mortgage Brokers and Lenders Nigeria.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Adeleye is deeply involved in humanitarian activities through the Adeleye Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the overall well-being of individuals through various interventions. From organizing free medical outreaches to distributing educational materials and providing financial support to vulnerable populations. Dr. Adeleye’s philanthropic initiatives have had a transformative impact on communities across Nigeria.
In addition to his philanthropic and professional achievements, Dr. Adeleye serves as the Chairman of the Committee on Weightlifting for the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports and Senior Special Adviser to Honorable Adamu Ochepo of Apa-Agatu Constituency in Benue State. He is admired for his dedication to public service and commitment to fostering positive change in society.
He will be decorated among other eminent personalities at the 2024 Chronicle Magazine Fizzy , with the theme “Monetization of Nigeria Politics and the Bane of Godfatherism: Ondo 2024 in perspective” to be delivered by Dr. Olugbenga Abimbola of the Department of Mass Communication, Adekunle Ajasin University.
The event will be chaired by Hon. Bode Ayorinde, former member of House of Representatives and Founder, Achievers University, Owo and will also feature Hon. Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi, Majority leader of Ondo State House of Assembly, and Dr. Tunji Rhema Moyero, Ondo State Governorship aspirant as special guests.
The tripartite event will host the Executive Governor of Ondo state, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as the special guest of honour.
