Covid-19:BOF Foundation Donates PPE to Uso Community

A Non Governmental Organization, Beatrice Oluwasanya Foundation( BOF) has donated some protective medical equipment to Uso Health Care workers to curb the spread of Corvid-19 in the community.While presenting the equipment that is worth more than a million naira to the beneficiaries at the Maternity Center, Uso, on Friday, 29th of May, 2020, the Director of the Foundation, Mr. Ajisafe Oluwafemi stressed the need for the Health workers to always use protective facilities while attending to patients as failure to do this could be disastrous. He promised that the Foundation will continue to put the Health, Education and general well being of the people as it’s top priority without any discrimination. Ajisafe said the Foundation was established in the name of his late mother, Mrs. Beatrice Oluwasanya to surport the less privileged in the community.The Occasion which was graced by Oloba in Council was led by His Royal Majesty The Oloba of Uso Oba Ademola Oyinbade Olanipekun III, Members of Board of Trustees of BOF, Venerable Olatunde Abiodun and Prince Folayan Dada respectively, Nurses from different Health Centers of the community to mention but few.According to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Professor Fatuyi explained that BOF Foundation was established few years ago with three basic objectives, which were to assist indigent students in primary, secondary, and tertiary schools and colleges, to assist the elderly, widows and widowers who are unable to meet their health care services due to poverty, and the third objective was to promote youth vocational training support or empowerment.In his words, “BOF as a humanitarian organization which believe that “Health is Wealth” does not wish to be left out of the good people who have been giving palliatives to their community, most especially as one of the three basic objectives of the organisation is focusing on Health care delivery”.Health care facilities distributed were hand sanitizers, Hand Gloves, Face Guard/Protectors, Laboratory Coats among others.While commending BOF Foundation, the Oloba of Uso, His Royal Majesty Ademola Oyinbade Olanipekun 3 lauded the activities of the Foundation and prayed that God will continue to give them the ability to continue to touch the lives of the people positively.Meanwhile, while delivering her votes of thanks, the officer in charge of Uso Health Care, Mrs Daudu Ayodele Idowu on behalf of the beneficiaries expressed her gratitude for the kind gesture and promised to use the equipment judiciously.She equally appeal to the management of the Foundation to always put them in mind whenever the opportunity arises.
