Chronicle magazine @ 9: Hajiah Folake Ahmed Bags Women Development Award

It will be another moment of encomium for Hajiah Folake Ahmed, on the 28th of August, 2022 as she will be honoured with the Pillar of Women Development Award by the Chronicle Magazine.
The Chronicle Magazine Award is a Special category of Awards designed to celebrate and honour individuals of unaltered integrity and dignity; who have distinguished themselves in their chosen paths.
Hajiah Halima Folake.O.Ahmed, a business Tycoon and CEO of Happyland Global Concept Limited is married to Hon. Ahmed, a former Gubernatorial Candidate and a strong politician in Kogi State.
Over the years, she has demonstrated various philanthropic gestures, an advocate for gender equality, and voiceless women and empowers widows and the less privileged.
An adventurous woman, Hajiah Folake O. Ahmed has carved a niche for herself and built her business empire over the years with interest in the USA, United Kingdom, France, Scotland, and UAE.
A linguist, Hajiah Folake speaks many Nigerian languages such as Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, igala, Ekpeye, and so on.
The theme of this year’s Anniversary/public lecture is Insecurity: A Threat to Human Existence and Economic Development in Nigeria to be delivered by Mr. Eni Akinsola, the CPS to former Governor Olusegun Mimiko of which Chief Ifedayo Adedipe SAN is expected to be the Chairman.
The 9th in the series will be held at the Sunbeth Hotel, Sijuade, Akure, with Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu as Special Guest of Honour.
While Special Guests for the ceremony are Rt. Hon Victor Olabimtan, SUBEB Chairman, and Dr. Tolulola Bayode, the President and Founder of the biggest Orphanage homes in Africa.
In the meantime, HRM Aladelusi Ogunlade, Deji of Akure, HRM Ademola Adebiyi Oyinbade, Oloba of Uso and HRM Rotimi Obamuwagun, the Olumoru of Imoru will be Royal Fathers of the Day.
