Sir,
Appeal for considering Ekiti State for two(2) Ministerial positions .
First and foremost, I want to congratulate you on your victory in the last Presidential election and on all the successes recorded by our administration during this short period of your governance. May God in his infinite mercy continue to Pilot the affairs of Nigeria with you and every member of your Cabinet. May your reigns be known for unprecedented success in Nigeria and beyond.
Sir, I want to appeal to your good office to kindly consider Ekiti State for two(2) Ministerial appointments like other states e.g Kano, Delta, Niger , Ogun, Bauchi , Lagos etc.
I am sure you are aware of our commitment and zeal to deliver on this mandate . Prince Adedayo Adeyeye and host of others put their lives in line to preach and defended your mandate in Nigeria through SWAGA. Prince Adedayo Adeyeye formed SWAGA with like minds in the year 2020 immediately after COVID-19 and after several months of consultations with the leaders and Kings . When majority of today’s Ministerial nominees had not got the wind of where to belong .
They met with the kings and elders , convincing them to support your mandate as the best candidate which Southwest could present to win 2023 general election.
The caliber of people in SWAGA and the Sincerity of the leaders made many people joined the group. Also is another leader , H.E John Kayode Fayemi who contested for the office of the president but had to step down at the Primary after a wide consultation with the Southwest reconciliation committee headed by Baba Bisi Akande . JKF backed out after his wide consultation with his allies in the nooks and crannies of Nigeria, also as the chairman of Nigeria Governor’s forum . I was at the Eagles Square the venue of the April, 2022 Presidential Primary where he said he’s making a difficult decision but he believed he has to respect southwest leaders, that he has someone who is capable to give him and Nigerian new Nigeria. Whom is Present Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Majority of us present at the venue never believed what we heard . We were dumb folded. Asking could it be true that Fayemi step down for Baba ?That was when we knew the game was over. That President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has won . Either he has seen the handwriting of him Lossing on the wall or not, he step down for Baba. Since then, I respect him the more .
So, what could have happened to both leaders not making the Ministerial list together with Hon. Dele Alake and Others ? Could it be that non of them could let go of the position or there is something hidden to we the followers ? Even at that, if both leaders failed to come into terms on whom to nominate, what happened to other party faithfuls that contributed to this PBAT victory e.g, Hon. Wumi Ogunlola, Sen. Raji Rasak, Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, Mr Makinde Araoye , Mr Sunday Asefon , Dr Lee Badeji , Baba Ajibulu, Prince Akin Olayisade ,my self and host of others . Ain’t we qualified after travelling to nooks and crannies of Nigeria days and nights campaigning ?
Many of our support groups members lost their lives and belongings in this journey. What could have gone wrong ? Ekiti state results was among the results PDP could not believed because of the margin between APC and other opposition parties. Ekiti leaders made sure we delivered 66.6% of the total vote casted to PBAT. This was made possible with the help of our masses loving Governor Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji whom has been fulfilling his electioneering campaign promises to the citizens. His closeness to Ekiti Citizens is second to non .
I am appealing you kindly reconsider Ekiti for another Ministerial position to join Hon. Dele Alake . We the followers are at the receiving end of this decision sir .
I know you to be a leader that rewards loyalty . I could remembered what our mother (Chief Mrs Nelson)of blessed memory and Senator Bashir the new APC general Secretary told us at your 2021 birthday Colloquium in Lagos . They both said we should put in our possible best in making sure your mandate comes to reality , that we would have nothing to regret in doing so. Ekiti have done so, I have done so . Kindly reconsider Ekiti for another minister .
