MUSLIM CLERICS PRAY FOR AKETI; AS HON TAOFIK DISTRIBUTES FOOD ITEMS DURING RAMADAN PERIOD
The honorable lawmaker representing Akoko Northwest Constituency 2, in Ondo State House of assembly, Distinguished, Hon. Taofik Oladele Mohammed (MOT) has distributed palliative items to Muslims in his constituency to cushion the harsh realities of Covid-19 on this Ramadan period.
This is the first time this is happening in the history of Akoko Northwest Constituency 2 for any lawmaker to distribute food items for the muslims during any fasting season that will cutting across political party affiliation,this Taofik has broken the jinx.
One of the beneficiary in Oke Irun/Surulere ward said that, what Hon Taofik has been doing and still doing in the constituency has not been happened since the constituency has been created, thus Hon. Taofik has made the impossible to possible now. It was a shock and incredible to many of us because we have had many representatives in the past from the constituency.
Alhaji Aro from Afin Akoko, advised Taofik to continue do the right things for his constituency because people are commending his resilient efforts. He appealed to Hon.Taofik to let his milk of kindness continue to flows especially to Afin and pleaded with him for dredging and boreholes in his community because currently, they are suffering of drinkable water.
At Oke Irun/Surulere, Odo Irun and Ogbagi, the Imam of these communities prayed for the success of Taofik at the state assembly. They all commended the restless and untiring contributions of the honorable lawmaker to the constituency most especially at this critical period in the country. They urge other political office holders to emulate him.
In addition, Hon. Taofik called on muslim faithfuls to use the month of Ramadan to pray to Allah to heal our land, ease the suffering of the people and restore peace in Ondo State and Nigeria at large and for Aketi to succeed and come back for second term because one good term, deserves another.
He prayed to God to see us through this difficult times, forgive the deceased of Convid 19, heal the afflicted and safeguard all. He appreciates his constituency people for their support, moral advice and prayers so far.
