Woman Disappears As Sexagenarian Lover Dies During Sex
Raji Adio, the sexagenarian lover of a yet-to-be identified woman has allegedly died during sex in a room at the River Bank Hotel in Ijora-Badia area of Lagos State. Immediately after the incident, the woman ran away.
It was gathered that the late Adio visited the hotel in company of the fleeing woman and booked one of the hotel rooms for a short-time rest.
After paying for the said room, Williams Ekezie, manager of the hotel, gave the deceased the key to room. Shortly after this, the manager left the hotel for a morning devotion at the Revelation Church, opposite the hotel.
It was alleged that after the death of the sexagenarian, the woman attempted running out of the room and was seen by John Chuks, a cleaner at the hotel. And, while the cleaner was trying to alert his co-workers, the woman escaped.
While speaking to pressmen, Williams said that the woman escaped because Chuks ran down to inform him about the situation in the church, where the early devotion was being held.
He confessed that “Both Adio and the woman were regular customers. So, on the day of the incident, they came around 8 a.m. to book a room for short-time rest. Immediately payment was made, I issued a receipt to Adio, and gave him the key to one of the rooms. Afterwards, I left the reception to attend a morning devotion at a church, opposite the hotel. Almost all members of staff of the hotel attend the devotion before business will commence for the day.
“As the devotion was going on, Chuks suddenly rushed to inform us that he suspected that something strange had happened because of the way a woman rushed out from one of the rooms, and ran out of the hotel. We quickly chased after her, but it was too late.
“When we went to the room, we saw Adio lying naked on the bed and, on close examination, we realised that he was dead. We also found the tissue paper that both of them used during their romp on the floor, while the man ’s clothes were on the table. I suspect that the woman quickly dressed up and rushed out of the room after Adio died.”
Chucks said the matter was reported at the Ijora-Badia Police Division after efforts to locate the woman proved abortive.
The Police Public Relations Office in the state, Bala Elkana, said effort is in top gear to get the fleeing woman arrested.
