Transparency in financing, our priority-Ondo Assembly

Ondo State House of Assembly has declared total support for every move to enhance transparency of governance in financing in the State.
The House Committee on Finance and Appropriation made the declaration during its familiarisation visit to the State Ministry of Finance in Akure.
The Chairman of the Committee and the Majority leader of the House, Hon Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi who led other members to the Ministry appreciated the Commissioner and his team for their roles and commitment .
According to him, the Ministry must be vibrant based on its importance in carrying out transparency administration in the State.
He pledged that the House will always support every move in achieving the set goal.
Ogunmolasuyi who noted that the visit became imperative for the new committee members to familiarise themselves with the Management of the Ministry, informed that the Committee will come for proper oversight function soon.
Other Lawmakers who discribed the Ministry as the engine room of any administration, encouraged them to put in more effort in order for the government to achieve more feat.
Earlier, the Commissioner for Finance, Wale Akinterinwa who reeled out activities of the Ministry,appreciated the Committee members for the visit.
While noting that the committee has been so supportive to the Ministry in the 9th Assembly,the Commissioner therefore sought for more corporation and mutual understanding from the Committee during the 10th Assembly as well.
He also affirmed that the Ministry will continue to collaborate with the House to live up to expectations and function effectively despite the economic situation of the Country.
