Quake in Ondo APC As Massive Defection Hits Ifedore LG Chapter

It was a bunch of bounty harvest of souls liken to the pastoral story of St Peter catch at the sea, as APC suffered a huge loss when scores of their members from various towns decamped to the PDP on 7th March, 2024 at Isarun/Erigi ward of the Local Government.
The new members were at Erigi/Isarun ward secretariat to officially join and registered as new members of the Peoples Democratic Party in a ceremony well attended by dignitaries and party stalwarts.
The leadership of the decampees, through their spokesperson, Mrs Mariam Adepeju in tandem with their resolutions said their joining the PDP was as the result of lurk lustre management of the Nigeria economy and lack of internal democracy in the Ondo State chapter of the party. The views of Mr. Olatunji Lawal and others were not different from the first speaker.
On the ground to receive the new members were the acting Chairman of PDP in Ifedore Local Government, Hon. Fasore, other leaders : Hon. Oluwole Fakologbon, SLA, MHR, Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, the local government women leader, Mrs Bolanle Agbelese, Pst Yisa, Baba Sosoliso, Hon. John Fakologbon, Hon. Akeem Oyekan, Chief Abimbola Sandra Adanlawo, Hon. Adebayo Adeola amongst other people.
Receiving them, the chairman of the party on behalf of the National Working Committee of the party welcomed them and assured them of fairness and equality, he charged them to work harder on other members that still wish to follow their suit that PDP is the only party that can rescue Nigeria from the current sinking ship being witnessed.
Hon. Wole Fakologbon said he was sure that many people would join PDP before the next elections as they have realised that APC are just not serious about revamping the damaged economy of the country.
