Prince Yahaya Aderosoye Omoloja Congratulates Governor Aiyedatiwa on Appeal Court Victory

Prince Yahaya Aderosoye Omoloja, a respected titleholder and contender for the Olute of Ute stool in Ose Local Government, has warmly congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on the Appeal Court’s affirmation of his victory in the November 16, 2024 gubernatorial election.

In a congratulatory message, Omoloja praised the judgment as a testament to the rule of law and the credibility of Nigeria’s judicial system. He commended the judiciary for its professionalism and integrity, and lauded the governor’s legal team for their diligence and decorum. Omoloja also expressed hope and confidence in the judiciary, noting that it remains a beacon of justice for the common man.

He further expressed admiration for Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership and commitment to serving the people, and confidence that the victory will bring continued progress and development to the state.

Notably, the Appeal Court’s decision followed appeals filed by opposition parties, including the PDP, ADC, APP, and SDP, challenging the tribunal’s judgment and seeking to invalidate the election citing non-compliance with the Electoral Act.

In a gesture of unity, Omoloja called on opposition parties in the state to rally behind Governor Aiyedatiwa, urging them to put aside differences and work together to move the state forward.
