ONIJU OF IJU-ODO CONGRATULATES PRINCE (DR.) DIRAN IYANTAN ON APPOINTMENT AS APC NATIONAL VICE CHAIRMAN (SOUTH WEST)
The Oniju of Iju-Odo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Festus Oyedele Olumoyegun, JP, has congratulated Prince (Dr.) Diran Iyantan on his appointment and ratification as the National Vice Chairman (South West) of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a royal congratulatory message issued from his palace in Iju-Odo, Ondo State, the revered monarch said the appointment is well-deserved and a recognition of Prince Iyantan’s many years of loyalty, consistency, integrity and dedicated service to the progressive family since 1999.
Oba Olumoyegun stated that Prince Iyantan’s elevation to the National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling party is a thing of pride for the entire Okitipupa Local Government and Ikale Nation.
According to the monarch, “As a distinguished Prince of Ode-Aye, your success is our success. It is a thing of pride for the entire Okitipupa Local Government and Ikale Land that one of our own is now occupying such a strategic position in the leadership of the ruling party in Nigeria.”
The Oniju described the new APC National Vice Chairman as a man of impeccable character who has distinguished himself in various capacities including as former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Ondo State, and former Federal Commissioner of the National Population Commission.
The traditional ruler expressed confidence that Prince Iyantan will bring his wealth of experience, wisdom and Omoluabi ethos to bear in his new assignment and be a worthy ambassador of Ondo State and the South West.
He prayed for wisdom, good health and divine guidance for the new National Vice Chairman to succeed in the exalted office.
