Presidency: Saving Kidnapped Children Takes Precedence Over Aggressive Forest Assaults
The Presidency has stated that the safe rescue of abducted schoolchildren remains the government’s primary concern, even as security agencies continue operations against terrorists and criminal groups.

Presidential aide, Sunday Dare, said authorities are faced with difficult decisions in tackling insecurity, explaining that while forceful military action may be an option in some situations, the safety of innocent victims must not be compromised.
According to him, security operatives are currently conducting coordinated air and ground operations aimed at securing the release of the abducted children while avoiding actions that could endanger their lives.
Dare noted that clearing criminal hideouts through aggressive military operations might appear straightforward, but the presence of kidnapped victims in such locations requires a more cautious and strategic approach.
He expressed confidence in the ongoing efforts of security agencies, assuring Nigerians that measures are being intensified to ensure the victims regain their freedom as quickly and safely as possible.
The presidential aide added that the government remains committed to protecting lives and restoring security across affected communities.
