Odo Oro Day Celebration is an annual event that unites the community, encompassing education, sports, religion, and entertainment. It showcases the rich cultural heritage of Odo Oro Ekiti, fostering unity among people from different backgrounds.
HRM. Oba (Barr) Babatunde Adebayo Jemilehin, The Aladesodero1, the onise of Odo Oro Ekiti will use the opportunity to pray for all sons and daughters of his kingdom and also wine and dine with them.
The idea of Odo Oro Day originated from an Egbe Omo Odo Oro meeting.
The aim was to establish a social cultural festival that would bring together all Odo oro sons and daughters, transcending political, religious, and social divides. October 7 was chosen as the day of celebration to avoid conflicts with other festivals.
Since its inception of Odo Oro Day has grown in popularity, attracting influential individuals from various sectors. It has exceeded its initial vision, serving as a platform for social connections, infrastructure development, and personal growth for Odo Oro citizens.
Through Odo Oro Day, tangible benefits have been achieved. Additionally, the celebration has provided intangible benefits by fostering social and business connections, empowering Odo Oro sons and daughters to excel in their respective fields.
