ICT: ODSG/GIZ TO TRAIN 500 YOUTHS ON DIGITAL SKILLS

The Ondo State Government in collaboration with the Nigerian-German Centre for Migration and Development (GIZ-ZME), are set to train five hundred youths across the state in digital skills.

According to a press release by the State Information Technology Agency (SITA), the training which is aimed at equipping the participants with adequate knowledge and skills in the field of digital technology will take place across four major centers in Akure, Owo, Ondo, and Okitipupa and will last for 20 days.

The training is in line with the policy thrust of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s OUR-EASE, with letter “R” indicating Revolutionary Technology Advancement and Industrialization.

SITA believes that the participants could leverage the training which will cover Digital Analytics, Python Programming, Frontend Web and Backend Web Development to improve their potentials in technology with a view to securing job opportunities in the competitive ICT world.

In the light of the above, SITA invites all qualified youths from the state to register for the training via https://ondostate.gov.ng/ondo_ict_registration/. Registration starts today 9th April, 2025 and closes on 16th April, 2025.
