HERALD MAGAZINE HONOURS PROMINENT NIGERIANS
some prominent Nigerians will be honoured with awards of excellence by the Southwest Herald magazine.
The honour is sequel to the outstanding performances of the proposed recipients in their chosen careers, and for their selfless services to human and national development.
The honour will be bestowed on them during a special programme scheduled to take place on the 1st of December, 2019, at the Dome, along Igbatoro road Akure, Ondo State.
The awardees are, chairman Ekiti State Civil Service Commission, Chief Bunmi Famosaya distinguished leadership Award,
Professor Akin Bamigboye Southwest Distinguished Medical Personality 2019,
Professor Friday Okonofua – Southwest Distinguished Medical Education Personality 2019,
Others are Mr Olawale Hamzat Southwest Distinguished Radio Sport Yoruba Presenter Award 2019,
Mr Bayo Faleke – Southwest Best Yoruba Presenter(News)Award,
Hon. Desmond Babatunde Ojo Southwest Outstanding Leadership Award,
In a statement in Ado Ekiti, authorities of the Southwest Herald magazine explained that the proposed award was to propel the awardees to do more towards ensuring peaceful and developed society.
