Eid- el-kabir,Children’s Day:Ondo Speaker, Oladiji Preaches Love, Unity.
As the celebration of Eid-el-kabir and children’s day coincided today,the Speaker,Ondo State House of Assembly,Rt. Hon.(Chief) Olamide Oladiji,has extended warm felicitations to Muslim Faithful and children across the State,urging citizens to embrace love, unity and shared responsibility.
In a goodwill message personally signed by the Speaker in Akure today, he described the convergence of the two occasions as symbolic, noting that both emphasise sacrifice, compassion and the need to build a better future.
Urging Muslims to sustain the virtues of discipline,tolerance and generosity at all times,he called on them to live peacefully with others,shun violence and continue to support the less privileged.
“This period offers an opportunity for deep reflection and gratitude to Allah for His countless blessings.I encourage all muslims to extend kindness to the less privileged and foster spirit of generosity that will uplift our communities”. he said.
While celebrating children on this special day,the Speaker urged them to stay focused and committed to their dreams,describing them as the hope and future of society.
Oladiji,further charged parents,guardians and stakeholders to prioritise the welfare of children through proper guidance,quality education and moral upbringing.
He expressed appreciation to Governor Aiyedatiwa for his continued commitment to policies that promote child development
While felicitating all children in the State on this auspicious day, Oladiji wished them a day filled with fun adventure.
