Appeal Court Victory: Amb. Akintayo Congratulates Governor Aiyedatiwa, Deputy
I, Ambassador Akintunde Akintayo, extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and his Deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, on their well-deserved victory at the Court of Appeal. This judgment is a clear affirmation of the people’s mandate and a significant milestone in our democratic journey as a state.
The unanimous ruling by the Court of Appeal in Akure, which upheld the outcome of the APC primary and affirmed the legitimacy of the election of Governor Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy, speaks volumes about the strength and independence of our judiciary. I commend the learned justices for their courage and commitment to justice, and for reinforcing the sanctity of the electoral process.
This victory is not only for the Governor and his Deputy but for all well-meaning citizens of Ondo State who believe in progress, peace, and good governance. It is now time to set aside political differences and rally behind the Aiyedatiwa-led administration to build a better and more prosperous Ondo State for everyone.
As a proud son of Ile Oluji and a firm believer in the future of our state, I encourage all stakeholders to embrace this opportunity for unity and development. Let us support the Governor and his team as they continue to deliver on their promises to the people. The future of Ondo State is indeed bright under their leadership.
