Amb. Akintunde Akintayo Harps on Compassion, Personal Reflection as Ramadan Begins

As the holy month of Ramadan begins, Ambassador Akintunde Akintayo, the Founder of Akin-Akintayo Foundation, extends his warmest greetings to all Muslim faithful observing this sacred period of fasting, prayer, and reflection. In his goodwill message, he stated, “As the crescent moon shines, may your heart be filled with peace, your home with blessings, and your fast with rewards.” He emphasized that Ramadan is not just about fasting but also about cultivating patience, gratitude, and strengthening one’s relationship with Allah.

Amb. Akintayo encouraged Muslims to use this period as an opportunity to share love, kindness, and compassion with one another, especially with those in need. He noted that the values of Ramadan; selflessness, charity, and spiritual renewal should be embraced beyond the fasting period. He urged everyone to reflect on the lessons of sacrifice and discipline, which are fundamental to both personal and communal growth.

Furthermore, he called on Muslim faithful to dedicate this sacred time to praying for the peace, unity, and prosperity of Nigeria, particularly Ondo State. He emphasized that collective prayers and positive actions can contribute significantly to the progress and development of the nation. “As we begin this sacred journey, may our hearts be purified, our prayers answered, and our faith strengthened,” he added.

On behalf of the Akin-Akintayo Foundation, Amb. Akintayo wished all Muslim faithful a blessed and fulfilling Ramadan. He urged them to uphold the true essence of the holy month; faith, love, and unity and prayed that Almighty Allah grants them the strength to complete their fast and accept their supplications. Ramadan Mubarak!
