Ondo Rep, Hon Akingbaso sponsors Special Ramadan Lectures in Ifedore and Idanre

Muslims community in the Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency gathered yesterday at the Special Ramadan Lecture sponsored by the MHR, Hon. Festus O. Akingbaso, representing, the Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency at the National Assembly. The people gathered at the Anglican Primary school, Igbara Oke for the first tier of the lecture as the other tier is scheduled to hold the next day, April 1,2024 at Muslim Primary school, Jigbokin, Idanre.
Among the dignitaries that attended and participated in the events were the Chiefs Imam of Igbara Oke, Ilaramokin, Ijare, Ipogun, Ero, Ikota, Elizade and Isarun, others were Alhaji Waidi Fadola, Alhaji Ibrahim Ogunlala, Alfa Ogunjolagbe Shehu with others.
Lectures on Ramadan significance were given by clerics with emphasis on premium placed in fasting by the Muslim faithful.
Afterwards, The Imams through their spokesman, Chief Imam of Ijare, as he appreciated Allah and thanked the sponsor of the programme, Hon. Festus Akingbaso for his gestures as well as other interventional efforts, he acknowledged that he gave them a very good bus for their evangelical and logistics purposes and that the bus has always been a cynosure of eyes at state and regional events they undertook. He went further to commend the Federal Legislator, whom despite not being a Muslim but yet had done much more than some brethren as they fervently prayed for him to succeed in his endeavours.
Responding, Hon Festus Akingbaso thanked them for their prayers and supports so far as he reinstated his commitment to uplifting the standard and quality of lives in the Federal Constituency. He said he was going to rehabilitate the Ijare Central Mosque, sponsor a pilgrim from the Federal Constituency to a holy Land this year and subsequently as laudable projects across the constituency are to begin in earnest.
He charged the people to always reach out to his Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Oluwole Fakologbon for promptness of response to their quests and enquiries. He rounded up his speech by promising to enhance the quantity of the bags of rice given as next year shall be higher quantities as he charged Idanre Muslim community to attend the next tier at Jigbokin, Idanre.
