A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Ambassador H.K Bello has congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his Supreme Court victory, noting that it brings an end to distractions and allows the Governor to focus more intently on governance.
The Supreme Court’s unanimous decision dismissed the appeal filed by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Agboola Ajayi, affirming Aiyedatiwa’s election as Governor of Ondo State following the November 16, 2024, governorship election.
This victory has drawn praise from various individuals and groups, including: Egbe Atunluse Initiatives, who lauded Aiyedatiwa’s leadership style, doggedness, and selfless service, Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji, who extended his congratulations, Amb. Dr. Sunday Akinbiola, Publisher of Hero Magazine, who also congratulated Governor Aiyedatiwa on the resounding victory.
In his words, “with the legal challenge now resolved, Governor Aiyedatiwa can direct his efforts toward delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Ondo State and advancing the state’s progress and development”.
