Today, we celebrate an extraordinary man, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan, a rare blend of compassion, intellect, leadership, and unwavering dedication to the service of humanity.
A true son of Ekiti State, Hon. Falegan has not only made his mark in politics and public service, but has also carved out a legacy of love, generosity, and empowerment through his selfless humanitarian work. As the founder of the ODF Foundation, he has championed countless initiatives aimed at uplifting women, widows, the elderly, youths, and students from underserved communities.
From sponsoring over 5,000 free JAMB forms in 2024 alone, to consistently providing educational support, free health missions, fuel relief for motorists, cooking gas distribution to civil servants, and agricultural aid to farmers, his impact has been felt across all corners of Ekiti and beyond.
Hon. Falegan is not just a philanthropist, he is a visionary. An officer in the Royal Air Force (RAF), he has pursued academic excellence with a Bachelor’s degree from Lead City University, an MBA from the University of Wales, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the London School of Commerce.
His commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu underscores his belief in a brighter Nigeria built on education, youth empowerment, security, and economic revival.
