PASTOR LOLADE OKI BIDS GOODBYE TO CIVIL SERVICE

Pastor Dr. Francis Lolade Oki, a distinguished educationist, administrator, entrepreneur, and clergyman, will formally retire from the civil service on Thursday, June 5, 2025. A Pen’s Down ceremony in his honor will hold at Community Comprehensive High School, Ilara-Mokin, where he currently serves as Principal. The event is scheduled to commence at 10:00 AM.

Dr. Oki, a native of Oka Akoko in Ondo State, has had an illustrious career in the education sector. He holds a B.Sc (Ed) in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, a Master’s degree in Education (M.Ed) with a specialization in Personnel Administration, and a Ph.D. in Educational Management from the University of Ibadan. His professional journey has seen him serve as a class tutor, form coordinator, Head of Department, Vice Principal, and ultimately, Principal. Pastor Dr. Oki is also a senior lecturer at the prestigious Ondo State Public Service Training Institute Ilara Mokin.

In addition to his contributions to education, Dr. Oki is a successful entrepreneur. He is the Founder of Merit International Group of Schools, a reputable academic institution in Akure known for its excellence. He also has investments in property development, focusing on residential and commercial real estate within Akure, and is the CEO of Global Link Nigeria Ltd, a company dealing in office supplies, photocopy machines, and computer accessories now defunct.

Dr. Oki is also a respected spiritual leader, serving as Pastor in Charge of Miracle Zone, Ondo Province 16, Region 22 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). He is the Provincial Coordinator of the RCCG School of Disciples (S.O.D) for Ondo Region 22 and the Secretary of the All Nigerian Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS) for Ifedore Local Government.

The Pen’s Down ceremony will mark the culmination of a career dedicated to educational excellence, leadership, and community impact. It will also provide an opportunity for colleagues, students, friends, and family to celebrate Dr. Oki’s remarkable legacy and express their gratitude for his years of service.
