Ondo Student Breaks Records with Exceptional JAMB Score

In a remarkable achievement, Miss Daramola Oluwademilola Oreoluwa, a student hailing from Ogbagi Akoko in the Akoko North West local government area of Ondo state, has made headlines by scoring an outstanding 341 in this year’s Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME. Her stellar performance places her among the select few who attained scores over 300 in the recently released results.

In an exclusive interview with Olanrewaju Ayo of the Chronicle magazine, the jubilant Miss Oluwademilola attributed her success to divine grace and the unwavering support of her father, Dr. Temitope Daramola. Dr. Daramola, a seasoned professional with an illustrious career, served as the former Regional Chief Executive, South West of the now-defunct Intercontinental Bank. Subsequently, he held esteemed positions such as Director-General of the Bureau of Lands in Kwara state, Group Managing Director of Harmony Holdings Limited, and Chairman of Shonga Farms Kwara State. Miss Oluwademilola described her father as a pillar of support, tirelessly working to ensure her success.

In the meantime, Miss Oluwademilola also in the 2023 West African Examination cleared the result with Distinction, which includes 6 A1s and three Bs.

Amidst her celebration, Miss Oluwademilola seized the opportunity to extend heartfelt birthday wishes to the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, whose birthday coincides with the following day. Her gesture reflects not only her academic prowess but also her gracious spirit, acknowledging and celebrating others amidst her own triumphs.

This exceptional achievement by Miss Oluwademilola not only underscores her academic brilliance but also serves as an inspiration to students across the nation. Her dedication, coupled with the support of her family, exemplifies the potential for excellence that lies within Nigeria’s youth, paving the way for a brighter future in education and beyond.
