NEW YEAR MESSAGE: EMBRACE 2026 WITH A VISION OF PROGRESS AND UNITY – ONDO SPEAKER ,OLADIJI URGES
As year 2026 begins, a call has gone to the people of Ondo State to continue to pray for the unity and progress of the State in order to further enjoy the dividends of democracy under the leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa .
The call was made today by Ondo State Speaker ,Rt. Hon. (Chief) Olamide Oladiji in an official statement which was personally signed by him in Akure.
While rejoicing with the people of the State for witnessing another year ,Oladiji expressed optimism that year 2026 would be a year of greater heights for Ondo residents,praying that they would enjoy more developmental turn -around in the new year . ” I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt to you as we step into a new year filled with renewed hope,fresh opportunities and greater possibilities. Let us continue to support the government’s initiatives aimed at strengthening security, expanding infrastructure, improving education and healthcare ,” the statement read .
Assuring that Honourable members of the House would not relent in their oars of supporting the various programmes and policies of the present admistration in Ondo State,Oladiji expressed confidence that God Almighty would make year 2026 more productive and prosperous in the State and Nigeria as a whole .
While appreciating Governor Aiyedatiwa for his unwavering commitment and passion for development in all spheres , he admonished people of the State to step into the new year with courage and a renewed sense of purpose.
