Lady Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Cheating Boyfriend to Death in Ondo
A 25-year-old man, Michael Ikuedowoni, has reportedly lost his life after his girlfriend, Augustina Mowari, allegedly stabbed him during a heated argument over infidelity in Okitipupa, Ondo State.
The tragic incident occurred over the weekend in the lovers’ shared apartment, where Mowari allegedly attacked Ikuedowoni with a pair of scissors following a dispute about his alleged unfaithfulness.
According to a close friend of the deceased, the couple had been having recurring fights over trust issues. On the day of the incident, Mowari accused Ikuedowoni of cheating, which sparked a confrontation that turned violent.
“In the heat of the moment, she grabbed a pair of scissors and stabbed him in the leg,” the source said. Ikuedowoni was rushed to a nearby hospital, treated, and later discharged. However, his condition deteriorated the following day as his leg became swollen. Despite being taken back to the hospital, he eventually passed away.
Confirming the incident, Ondo State Police spokesperson DSP Olayinka Ayanlade stated that the suspect had been arrested and would face prosecution after investigations.
