National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has dismissed speculations suggesting he may dump the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking on the matter, Kwankwaso reaffirmed his commitment to the NNPP, describing recent reports about his alleged defection as “fake news” meant to cause confusion within the political space.

He praised the NNPP’s performance in Kano State and other parts of the country, noting that the party has made significant progress since its formation. According to him, the achievements recorded so far are clear indicators that the NNPP is growing stronger and positioning itself as a formidable force in Nigeria’s politics.

Kwankwaso assured party members and supporters that he remains steadfast in his political journey with the NNPP, urging them to ignore rumours and remain focused on consolidating the party’s successes.

The former governor of Kano State further emphasized that distractions from political opponents would not derail the NNPP’s vision of providing credible leadership and alternative governance to Nigerians.
