The member representing Ile-Oluji/ Okeigbo State Constituency, Hon. Nelson Akinsuroju, has described the death of one of his constituents, Isaiah Bademosi, as unfortunate and painful, assuring the bereaved family that justice would be served.

Akinsuroju gave the assurance during a condolence visit to the Bademosi family, whose son was allegedly killed by his employer, Mr. Rufus Olafusi, in Ile-Oluji.
The lawmaker visited the family’s residence to get firsthand information about the incident.
Narrating the tragedy to Akinsuroju, the mother of the deceased, Mrs. Bademosi, accused her son’s employer, Olafusi, of being responsible for the mysterious death of Isaiah, who reportedly died inside Olafusi’s residence.
She said her late son had been a loyal aide to Olafusi, who frequently travels abroad, and often relied on Isaiah to manage his affairs whenever he returned.
“My son has been the one picking him up from the airport, helping him acquire farmlands, and taking care of his property. I didn’t know anything until he killed my son.
“They both had been living, dining, and winning together. We need help to get justice,” she lamented.
Also speaking, Isaiah’s younger sister, Rachel, recalled her final conversation with him on the night of the tragedy.
She said Isaiah had borrowed her phone since his was faulty. At about 10:16 p.m., he called her with his boss’s number to request a password—an interaction that turned out to be the last time she heard from him alive.
According to her, the following morning she received the shocking news of his death. On getting to Olafusi’s house, she alleged that she saw blood through the bedroom window.
Rachel further claimed that authorities moved her brother’s body to a mortuary without informing his wife or immediate family members.
Consoling the family, Hon. Akinsuroju urged them to remain calm and not take the law into their own hands, assuring that no stone would be left unturned in unraveling the mystery surrounding Isaiah’s death, as security agencies were already on the case.
The lawmaker also stressed that the Governor Aiyedatiwa-led administration would continue to strengthen security measures and equip agencies to combat insecurity in the state.
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Ondo State Police Command, Olushola Ayanlade, confirmed that a suspect has been taken into custody while investigation is ongoing.
