Eid-ul-Adha: Embrace the Teachings of the Holy Prophet – Amb. Akintayo Felicitates Muslim Faithful
As Muslims across Nigeria and around the world celebrate Eid-ul-Adha, Ambassador Akintunde Akintayo has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah, urging them to reflect on the values of sacrifice, obedience, and compassion exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
In a goodwill message released to commemorate the sacred Celebration, Ambassador Akintayo emphasized that Eid-ul-Adha is not just a time for celebration, but a call to deepen faith and uphold the noble teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
“This season reminds us that through faith and sacrifice, we draw closer to God and strengthen our communities. The life of Prophet Ibrahim teaches obedience, while the message of Prophet Muhammad calls for peace, love, and charity to all,” he said.
Amb. Akintayo encouraged Muslims to continue promoting harmony, tolerance, and generosity, especially during this season of reflection and giving.
He further urged all Nigerians, regardless of religious beliefs, to pray for peace, unity, and progress in the nation, especially at this critical time.
