The Secretary to Akure South Local Government, Hon. Adeola Fynch, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful in the council area and beyond on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, urging them to embrace the values of love, unity, and sacrifice that the festival represents.

In her goodwill message, Hon. Adeola described Eid-ul-Adha as a time of deep spiritual reflection and a reminder of the unwavering faith and obedience demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim. She emphasized that the significance of the celebration goes beyond the symbolic slaughtering of animals, it is about reaffirming devotion to God, showing love to one another, and making sacrifices for the greater good of society.
The council secretary also used the opportunity to call for continued peaceful coexistence among residents of Akure South, noting that only through unity and mutual respect can the community achieve meaningful development. She prayed for peace, prosperity, and renewed strength for all Muslim families during this festive period, and wished them a joyful and blessed Eid-ul-Adha celebration.
