Eid-el-Maulud celebration:Ondo Speaker, Oladiji urges Muslim faithful to imbibe value of selflessness, perseverance and patience
As Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid-el-Maulud today,a call has gone to them to re-dedicate themselves to the service of Allah and humanity which is the reason for their existence.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by the Speaker,Ondo State House of Assembly,Rt.Hon(Chief) Olamide Oladiji,he rejoices with all Muslim brothers and sisters across the State, asking them to show love to one another at all times .
”I extend warm felicitations to you all on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Maulud. This auspicious celebration marks the birth of prophet Muhammad (SAW) and a testament to the enduring values of compassion,peace and unity that Islam embodies” the statement reads.
Congratulating Muslim faithful on this occasion, Oladiji admonishes them to always extend a hand of kindness to the less fortunate when needed.
While emphasizing the need for peaceful coexistence and promotion of unity during and after the festival,the Speaker appreciates the Governor of Ondo State,Dr.Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his various landmark achievements recorded by his administration since assumption of office.
Oladiji,who wishes the Muslim faithful a joyful celebration,prays for continued unity and peace in Nigeria.
