Dr. Toyin Adeyalo – Ogundare Bags Golden Service Award at Topshot Hall of Fame

Dr. Toyin Adeyalo – Ogundare, immediate past President of the Rotary Club of Akure Metro, was on Sunday honoured with the Golden Service Award at the 2025 edition of the Topshot Hall of Fame Awards for her exceptional contributions to community development and humanitarian service.

Widely recognised for her selfless leadership and commitment to social impact, Dr. Adeyalo Ogundare’s tenure as Rotary President was marked by landmark projects in health, education, and youth empowerment across Akure and its environs — earning her widespread acclaim within and beyond the Rotary community.

Presenting the award, the organizers described Dr. Adeyalo – Ogundare as “a true symbol of golden service, whose work has left a lasting imprint on lives and institutions.” Her leadership, they noted, reflects the highest ideals of service, integrity, and compassion.

In her remarks, Dr. Adeyalo – Ogundare thanked Topshot News for the recognition, describing the award as a celebration of shared values and collective effort. “This honour is not just for me, but for everyone who believes in the power of service to transform lives,” she said. “It is both humbling and motivating.”

The Topshot Hall of Fame Awards, held in Akure, brought together a distinguished audience of government officials, private sector leaders, media professionals, and traditional figures. The event recognised individuals who have made significant contributions in leadership, enterprise, media, and social development.

Other honourees at the event included Mr. Sesan Ajetomobi, Group Managing Director of Autoprobe Technical Services, who was named Topshot Man of the Year; AMB. Anu Ijiti, Adaja of Isinkan, honoured for Exemplary Community Leadership; and Mrs. Olamiposi Odofin, Media Director at the Governor’s Office, awarded Face of Ondo State Media.

The event featured a keynote lecture delivered by Dr. Gbolabo Osunsanmi FNITP, titled “Retrospective Perspective on Leadership, Governance and Development in Ondo State,” which explored the evolving dynamics of leadership across the state.

Chairing the occasion, Dr. Rhoda Makinde commended the organisers for sustaining a credible platform that continues to celebrate excellence and integrity across diverse fields.

The Golden Service Award bestowed upon Dr. Adeyalo – Ogundare not only crowns her impactful tenure with Rotary but also reinforces her standing as a beacon of service and a role model in civic leadership.
