Don’t Just Criticise, Provide Solutions — Pastor Adeboye Urges Nigerian Youths

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has advised Nigerian youths to move beyond constant criticism of leaders and systems, and instead position themselves as agents of lasting change.

In his devotional message titled “From Critic to Activist” in the Open Heavens Daily Devotional, Pastor Adeboye noted that while criticism may draw attention to problems, real transformation only comes through wisdom, knowledge, and constructive action.

“Don’t just criticise people or systems; be part of the solution you want to see,” he said. “Statues are never built for critics. Protests and placards may expose challenges, but what matters most is providing answers.”

He further warned against blind zeal without direction, urging young people to embrace capacity-building and strategy. “God has a great plan for you, but passion without wisdom can derail it. Grow in knowledge so that your zeal produces meaningful impact,” he added.

After over five decades in ministry, Adeboye emphasized the need for youths to combine divine guidance with practical steps, channeling their energy into transformative solutions that build enduring legacies.
