CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION: ONDO SPEAKER, OLADIJI GREETS CHRISTIANS AS HE CALLS FOR LOVE AND TOLERANCE
As the world celebrates Christmas and new year ,Christians have been enjoined to emulate the doctrine of Christ in faith , hope and love in order to justify the essence of the celebration.

The Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon ( Chief) Olamide Oladiji expressed this in a goodwill message personally signed by him in Akure today.
While urging all citizens of Ondo State and Nigeria in general to embrace the spirit of love and tolerance that Christmas represents , the Speaker called on individuals to extend kindness to the less privileged and continue to promote peaceful coexistence among the communities , irrespective of religious, ethic or political differences.
“As we joyfully celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ , I extend my warmest Christmas greeting to everyone . I encourage individuals , corporate bodies , faith -based organisations & community leaders to extend hands of kindness and generousity to those in need , ensuring that the joy of the season reaches every home ,” the statement read .
Oladiji who called on all and Sundry to pray for the continued unity , peace and progress of Nigeria , expressed optimism that the country would soon reclaim its lost glory among comity of nations.
The Speaker ,later used the medium to express appreciation to the Governor of Ondo State , Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for the numerous landmark achievements recorded by his administration, especially in the areas of infrastructure, health , education and security since he became Governor.
Wishing all the people of Ondo State a peaceful and prosperous Christmas and new year celebration,he asked God to continue to grant Ondo State a renewed strength , divine favour and lasting development.
