Chris Ayebusiwa Prepares Youths for Quiz Competition, Awards Cash Prizes
Member representing the people of Okitipupa Constituency I at the 10th Ondo State House of Assembly, Chris Ayebusiwa, has announced the maiden edition of Constituency Quiz Competition for public secondary schools in his constituency.
Ayebusiwa disclosed this in statement he personally signed and released on his verified Facebook page.
According to him, “The Constituency Quiz Competition for the Public Secondary Schools is part of our earnest plan to encourage the youth in Okitipupa Constituency I to channel their intellect and energies into productive engagements,
“It is essentially to promote literacy and revive the reading culture which appears to have diminished over the years among youthful constituents and, in so doing, foster unity.”
Chris, who said the programme is projected to continue after the maiden edition, added that provision has been made for cash prizes of 200, 000, 150,000 and 100,000 respectively for the first three winners.
“This is the maiden edition of the competition, but we plan to sustain it as a yearly event. Provision of cash prizes have also been made as a token of support for the educational pursuit of the best three (3) students in the competition. We entreat relevant stakeholders in the constituency to give it the necessary support.” He said.
