Barrister Olajide Aderehinwo, a respected legal luminary and grassroots advocate, will be honoured with the Community Development Champion Award at the forthcoming D Chronicle Media 50/12 Celebration.

The prestigious event, scheduled for Saturday, 23rd August 2025, at the St. Luke Event Center, Akure, will commemorate the 50th birthday of the CEO of D Chronicle Media alongside the 12th anniversary of the organisation. The celebration is themed “Accountability and Transparency: Keys to Fulfilling Election Promises in Public Service.”

Barrister Aderehinwo, who retired in 2018 as Assistant Chief Registrar of the Federal High Court of Nigeria after 35 years of meritorious service, has continued to distinguish himself in law, leadership, and community development. Through his firm, Olajide Aderehinwo & Co., he provides excellent legal services while also mentoring the younger generation.

A product of several international leadership and management training programmes across Dubai, China, Rome, Ghana, Mauritius, India, and Singapore, Aderehinwo is widely regarded as a professional of global exposure and administrative depth.

Beyond the courtroom, he has remained a tireless advocate for grassroots progress. As President of the Ode-Erinje Development Association, he has championed projects that promote infrastructure, youth empowerment, and socio-economic growth in his community. His role as a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Okitipupa Local Government further underscores his dedication to service and people-oriented leadership.

In recognition of these remarkable contributions, the Community Development Champion Award will be bestowed upon him at the D Chronicle Media 50/12 Celebration, an occasion expected to draw prominent dignitaries, political leaders, and captains of industry.
