• Two-Day Free Health Mission Leaves Lasting Impact Across Ondo Kingdom
The second and final day of the Free Medical Outreach organised by Honourable Onidare Sunday Bukunmi (OSB), Chairman of Ondo Northwest LCDA, in celebration of his birthday, recorded yet another remarkable turnout, with over 300 beneficiaries from various wards across Ondo Kingdom receiving life-changing medical care at no cost, within the 2-day exercise.
The two-day exercise drew elderly men and women, middle-aged residents, and other community members who took advantage of the program to access quality health services. Beneficiaries underwent a series of health checks, received professional medical consultations, and were given essential medications completely free of charge.
Beyond the provision of drugs, attendees were also offered personalised health advice, given the opportunity to discuss specific medical concerns with the healthcare team, and received practical tips on healthy living and wellness.
Speaking with deep gratitude, several beneficiaries commended Honourable OSB for prioritising their health as part of his birthday celebrations in 2025. They described the medical team as attentive, patient, and empathetic, noting how their conditions were thoroughly examined, explained, and appropriately treated. They prayed for long life, good health, and all-around blessings for the celebrant.
True to his long-standing passion for community health, especially for the aged, women, and children, Honourable OSB ensured that individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions during the outreach were referred to specialist consultants. He further assured that such cases will receive pro-bono specialist treatment in suitable government health facilities, with full care provided at no cost until full recovery.
With the medical outreach now successfully concluded, attention turns to the grand finale of the birthday celebrations on Sunday, 10th August 2025, at the Enu-Owa Secretariat Council Town Hall, Ondo. On that day, no fewer than 1,000 households across Ondo Kingdom will receive raw food packs, bringing smiles to countless families and marking a memorable close to the 2025 OSB Birthday activities.
