D Chronicle Media, one of South West leading Media Outfits is set to celebrate Asagunla Eniolorunda Samuel with the Role Model in Youth Development Award. The award will be presented during the grand celebration tagged “50/12,” marking the 50th birthday of the CEO of D Chronicle Media and the 12th anniversary of the media organization.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 23, 2025, at St. Luke Event Center, Akure, Ondo State. Asagunla Eniolorunda Samuel is a driven individual with a passion for entrepreneurship, politics, and community development.

Born into the family of Chief Edward Ogundowole Asagunla from Imoru Community in Ose Local Government of Ondo State, Samuel’s upbringing instilled in him discipline and a commitment to service delivery. He earned his first degree in Public Administration from Kogi State Polytechnic and later pursued a second degree in Political Science at Achievers University, Owo.

As the Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle-Plus Nigeria Limited, Asagunla Eniolorunda has built a reputation as a shrewd businessman. His conglomerate has diverse interests in real estate, lotto, automobile, wood, and political consultancy. With Pinnacle-Plus Service in Akure and Pinnacle-Plus Autos in Abuja, he has created jobs, stimulated economic growth, and established himself as a successful entrepreneur.

Samuel’s commitment to community development and youth empowerment is evident in his mentorship program, guiding young people with financial support and guidance to build sustainable lives. His youth development initiatives equip young individuals with skills and knowledge to thrive in their chosen paths.

His involvement in politics and public service includes membership in the APC, contributing to the party’s vision and shaping the nation’s future. He was appointed by Senator Babajide Ipinagbasa to serve his community and support the senator’s initiatives. Additionally, he served as Chairman of the Coalition of Ose Youths, advocating for policies that prioritize community needs and youth involvement in governance.

The 50/12 Celebration will feature prominent personalities, including:
HRMs Oluwarotimi Obamuwagun Uwade 1, Olumoru of Imoru and Engr. (Dr.) Ademola Oyinbade Olanipekun III, Oloba Uso as Royal Fathers of the day while Comrade Babatunde Ali, a former Governorship Aspirant in Ondo State will deliver a lecture on the theme “Accountability and Transparency: Keys to fulfilling Election Promises in Public service”.Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire of Ondo Central District at the National Assembly is expected to be the Chairman of the event. The Special Guest is
Hon. (Chief) Ifedayo Abegunde Abena, Director of Corporate Services of NDDC while the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Dr. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour.
The lecture and award ceremony are part of D Chronicle Media’s tradition of celebrating role models in various spheres of the society.
