The Executive Chairman of Akure-South Local Government, Hon. Fasua Gbenga-Donald, has sworn in new Supervising Councilors, Senior Special Advisers, and Special Advisers, charging them to dedicate themselves to serving the people. The Chairman emphasized that their roles are not positions of authority but a call to serve the community selflessly.

In his address, Hon. Fasua highlighted the administration’s achievements, including lighting up markets, implementing a tricycle waste collection system, and reducing flooding in Akure City. He also mentioned the distribution of vehicles to facilitate local government operations and the installation of boreholes in various wards.
The Chairman urged the appointees to bring innovations, integrity, and energy to their work, emphasizing that governance is a team effort. He encouraged them to be guided by humility, professionalism, and a focus on the welfare of constituents.
Hon. Fasua expressed gratitude to the state Governor for his support and acknowledged the dedication of his team. He implored the appointees to collaborate with him to make Akure South a beacon of progress.
