A former Ondo State Commissioner for Education and ex-Director-General of the Technical Aid Corps (TAC), Dr Pius Osunyikanmi, has reportedly died at a hospital outside Nigeria.
Osunyikanmi was a prominent political figure in Ondo State and a close associate and political adviser to former Governor Olusegun Mimiko.
During his public service career, he served as the state’s Commissioner for Education before being appointed to lead the Technical Aid Corps, a Federal Government agency involved in providing technical assistance to other countries.
His death marks the loss of a notable figure in Ondo State’s political and public service circles, particularly among those who worked with him during Mimiko’s administration.
