‘God Is Our Ultimate Problem Solver’ — Kumuyi Calls for Divine Intervention Over Insecurity
The General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, has urged Nigerians to seek God’s intervention in addressing the country’s growing security challenges, describing divine help as the ultimate solution to the nation’s problems.

Kumuyi made the appeal while speaking with journalists after a courtesy visit to the Benue State Government House ahead of the ministry’s Global Crusade scheduled to hold in Gboko and Otukpo Local Government Areas.
Addressing concerns over insecurity across the country, the cleric acknowledged that human beings may be responsible for acts of violence but maintained that lasting solutions would require divine intervention.
“We know that when bad things happen, there are people responsible for them, but the people are not the solution. God is our problem solver,” he said.
He called on Nigerians to return to God through humility, repentance and faith, expressing confidence that spiritual renewal could help bring healing and restoration.
According to Kumuyi, God remains willing to intervene if people sincerely seek Him and turn away from wrongdoing.
“God is waiting for us. He said, ‘If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and turn away from their sins,’ He is ready to solve their problems,” he added.
The cleric explained that the week-long Global Crusade in Gboko and Otukpo is designed to encourage spiritual awakening and strengthen hope among citizens during challenging times.
Kumuyi also commended developments recorded in Benue State, particularly in infrastructure and education, despite prevailing security concerns.
He expressed optimism that sustained government efforts, combined with faith and collective responsibility, would contribute to peace, stability and long-term development in the state.
