Feyisara Kevin-Israel to Receive Agricultural Development Award at Agribusiness Excellence Event
Renowned agro-processor and entrepreneur, Feyisara Kevin-Israel, will be honoured with the Agricultural Development Award at the 2025 Excellence in Agribusiness Lecture and Award organised by D Chronicle Media.
The event will hold on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Olusegun Aganga Hall, International Conference Center, University of Ibadan, with proceedings starting at 3 pm. The theme for this year is “Growing Beyond Oil: Agriculture As a Key to Nigeria’s Economic Diversification.”
The guest lecture will be delivered by Prof. Olorunfemi Oladapo Ogundele of NISER, while Mr. Omidokun Oyekunle, Chairman of the Poultry Association of Nigeria (PAN), Oyo State Chapter, will serve as Chairman. Special guests expected at the event include Bar. Olasunkanmi Olaleye, Oyo State Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, and Dr. Seye Oyeleye, Director-General of the DAWN Commission.
Feyisara Kevin-Israel, Director of Operations at Mafelojo Resources Ltd (Hadassah Foods), is receiving the award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to agribusiness and rural development in Oyo State. After a successful administrative career in both local and international organisations, she transitioned fully into agriculture, establishing a rural processing centre in Onipe, Oluyole Local Government Area of Ibadan. The centre has grown into a base for farmer support, community development, and empowerment programmes for women and youth.
She currently leads the Agricultural Exporting Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd. and serves as the Oyo State Coordinator for the African Women Entrepreneurship Programme (AWEP). She is also the founder of The Glorious Vessels, a faith-based initiative that supports women through skills training and entrepreneurship development.
Feyisara’s work continues to strengthen local food production, expand economic opportunities, and inspire emerging agripreneurs. Her recognition with the Agricultural Development Award highlights her commitment to sustainable agriculture and her enduring impact on communities across the state.
