Back to School: APC Chieftain Extends Support to Less Privileged with Cash and Educational Materials

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Senior Special Assistant to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Adenike Olawoye, popularly known as Aserere, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, extended financial and educational support to hundreds of physically challenged persons and the elderly in Ondo town.

The outreach, held at her residence, was attended by party faithful and community leaders.

Speaking at the event, Chief (Mrs.) Olawoye explained that the initiative was inspired by her commitment to easing the financial burden of the less privileged, particularly in assisting them with their children’s school fees. She emphasized that the welfare of the physically challenged remains dear to her heart, drawing inspiration from the values instilled in her by her late mother.

She urged the beneficiaries to utilize the cash gifts judiciously, especially for educational purposes, while reaffirming her commitment to continually support vulnerable groups in the community.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr Laisi thanked the APC Chieftain for her selflessness and generosity, praising her commitment to making a positive difference in their lives.

“We are forever grateful for the empowerment initiatives. Her support has enabled us to improve our lives, ensuring a better future for our children ” Laisi said.

The beneficiaries are students in both public and private schools across Ondo town.
