Amotekun Smashes Kidnap Syndicate, Parades 51 Suspects in Ondo

The Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun Corps, has paraded 51 suspects linked to kidnapping and other violent crimes across the state.

Commander of the Corps said the arrests followed a series of intelligence-driven operations that targeted criminal hideouts and safe houses used by the syndicate. Weapons, charms, and other incriminating materials were also recovered during the raids.

According to Amotekun, the crackdown was aimed not only at apprehending active kidnappers but also at dismantling the wider network of collaborators and informants enabling the crimes.

The Corps assured residents that its men will sustain the tempo of operations to rid communities of criminal gangs while calling on citizens to provide timely information to support security efforts.

The arrested suspects are currently under investigation and will be charged to court as soon as possible.
