Hon. Ibikunle Ikuyinminu to Receive Game Changer and Youth Development Award at D Chronicle Media 50/12 Celebration

It will be a night of glamour, recognition, and reflection as D Chronicle Media rolls out the drums for its highly anticipated 50/12 Celebration, commemorating the 50th birthday of its Chief Executive Officer and the 12th anniversary of the organization. The event, themed “Accountability and Transparency: Keys to Fulfilling Election Promises in Public Service,” will take place on Saturday, 23rd August 2025, at the St. Luke Event Center, Akure, Ondo State.

One of the major highlights of the evening will be the conferment of the Game Changer and Youth Development Award on Hon. Ibikunle Ikuyinminu, a respected journalist, scholar, and political figure, whose career has been defined by versatility, resilience, and service to humanity.

Born in Ode-Aye, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, Hon. Ikuyinminu has distinguished himself as a journalist, editor, lecturer, marketer, corporate manager, and political mobilizer. He rose to prominence as Editor-in-Chief of The Staples Magazine, later served as a part-time lecturer at Olabisi Onabanjo University, and has held managerial roles in both corporate and security management. His commitment to public service was further recognized with his appointment as Special Assistant on Mobilization to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

A prolific author, Ikuyinminu has published several works, including “Sehinde Fadeni Oladapo: A Quintessential Role Model” and “Concise Marketing for Secondary Schools.” His contributions to journalism, youth development, and community empowerment have earned him respect across professional and political circles.

The organizers noted that his selection for the Game Changer and Youth Development Award was influenced by his “innovative spirit, unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, and transformative approach to leadership.”

The event is expected to draw prominent dignitaries from government, politics, business, media, and civil society, making it one of the most glamorous gatherings in Ondo State this year.
